Problems with Mouse!!

No not a live one but a Microsoft Wireless 2000 Mouse.

Belongs on Wife's Computer, worked OK on Win7, No problems, But---

On her new Computer on Win10 works fine for 1st few Minutes then starts to jump all over the place when used, Wife giving me Earache with complaints.
I have checked and reloaded up-to Date Drivers, Check Windows Mouse Settings (Looks OK to me).
She now has a Wired Mouse (temporary) that is working OK.

I have used this Mouse on my Computer, Win10 with no problem, but personally hate its shape.

Any suggestion??
 
new battery required?
crap on the sensor underneath?
 
No Paul, sorry, should have mentioned, new Batteries fitted, Sensor clean. Does not explain how its fine on my Computer.

Tried with and without Mousemat.
 
I wonder if its wireless interference? Is it a laptop? I also find that sometime Win10 goes into power saving on my wifes laptop and the mouse pointer jumps about a bit plug in and its all fine again (or charge the battery).
 
James, that has set me thinking, the Mouse is next to a BT Phone.

Unable to check at the moment but wort a check later.
 
Has the distance/items between the receiver and the mouse changed when using the new PC, even by a few inches? We're using wireless desktop 5000's and even with the usb stick in the front of the pc on the floor it struggles reaching to the desk for left handed users (pc on the right)
