Problems converting RAW files

Hi everyone,

I previously shot with a Nikon D40x and eventually started using RAW which i converted with PS Elements 6. I have now upgraded to a Nikon D90 and i tried shooting in RAW but when i get them on my laptop Elements is telling me it can not open .NEF because it is the wrong kind of file.

is there a simple solution, can anybody help please.

have you updated Adobe Camera Raw? The latest version will have the updates to cover the D90
