I've done something silly I think. I must have inadvertently hit a combination of keys on the keyboard - and now I have a rather odd-looking (and totally useless) cursor showing. it's not the standard cross-hair - this is like a cross hair with a dot in the middle - if that makes sense? I've tried to change it back via preferences > cursors but no joy - whatever I've altered it clearly wasn't via that! the same cursor appears no matter what I have selected too - crop, clone, spot healing etc.

I'm sure it's something blatantly simple - well at least I hope so - but it's really messing with my head now! someone help me back to sanity please!

PMSL - was that it?!!! Oh dear - you have no idea how frustrated I was getting here - the tend of my tether had been reached some time since and was now way back in the distance! :lol:

Thank you ever so much - help much appreciated. Now I have to hope this thread dies a death quickly to avoid too many others laughing at me! :thumbs:

Ahhh - good one John - that'll mean they can share the laughing between both of us now!!! I'm still in fits of giggles here over it being something so simple! Of course now I'm having to go through and change back all the things I'd fiddled with whilst trying to sort it out! :bonk:

:lol: Don't worry Robyn. If it's any conciliation I only found this out myself after hours and hours of fiddling with settings and much frustration, only to discover it was the humble Caps Lock key :bonk:

Wrong move Witchy ... :suspect: ... telling everyone it's sorted is just inviting MORE people to pop in and see what the problem was initially and how HARD it was to sort ... NOT ... :naughty: ... people like me frinstance ... :D



Seriously though don't worry we have all been flummoxed at one point or another by our so-called user friendly technology ... ;)


At least you have helped one other TP member out of the same fix ... :D
