Printing

hmmmmmm......

Tried to get this printed off for a customer (woo-hoo I can say that now!)

They wanted a panoramic 20" x 8".

Created the file, using a calibrated monitor and printed a test file using the same paper on my Canon Photo decidacted printer - on A4 fujifilm.

Happy with the results so sent the sRGB based file off to photobox. Got it back today and looks a bit washed out.

Any ideas why? I cannot image they have enough time to enhance[/] mess around with customers files......




Any recommendations as to who people use on here for printing large / non standard formats? Looking for top quality with a good turnaround time yet reasonable prices.

Not sure why, but I've not used Photobox before.

I usually use the Colour space in Brighton http://www.colourspace.co (the link is correct!!)

They offer two sizes as standard, 42" x 12" and 23" x 9" £30 & £25 respectively so you'll get the size you want.

They prefer Adobe RGB 300dpi or higher tiff files. I usually send 700dpi. The printing is great and always looks the same colour as my screen
