I've been trying to print photographs taken with a Canon 5DMKiii using an EPSON STYLUS PHOTO PX730WD. I have tweaked the RAW images in Lightroom 4 & converted to tiff, but for some reason the job keeps coming out way too dark & nowhere near what I see on screen.

The image is bright & clear, but prints out murky. I've printed using 'printer manages colours' & 'Photoshop manages colours' but both are way off the mark.

I've tried various profiles & still the image produced is murky. I'm at a loss with this printer, so can anyone offer me any tips?

have you tried the profiles to match the paper your using?

Also on epson printers (I have the PX720WD) it has options under advance settings regarding colour management and colour mode. have you tried playing with them?

Also are you using Epson inks or cheap inks?

I've played with all the settings & still nothing better.

Also official Epson inks being used.
