Printing sizes

Hi guys,
I'm just starting out and could do with a bit of advice.
If I wanted to give someone a copywrite free disc, what size would be best to save the images so that they can print off the disc without the pics being cropped too much .

Any suggestions/ reccomendations welcome

Unless you know what size they intend to print you can't decide what size to save.

Just leave them at the cameras aspect ratio and best quality jpg and leave it to them to crop/resize them.

Why would you relinquish your copyright?
