I think this is the right place for this query...
I tried to print a copy of my PoTY entry onto matte A4. I took the two images in RAW (for the first time), edited them in PS CS3 as 8 bit and saved it out as JPG. My printer's an HP D5160 and is usually pretty good at reproducing colours.
This time though, the image is 'patchy', the foreground face has a heavy dark pink cast and the background one looks as though it's a paper cutout stuck on after the event. I managed at some point to print it in greyscale but would like the slight tint visible on the image on the screen.
Is there something I need to learn about colour management between CS3 and my printer? If so, could someone kindly point me to the relevant document please?
