I am currently assembling a collection of 6 images for display. They will be on display inside my local Cinematheque and vary in size from 1600cm X 1000cm x3 images - and the remaining 3 images approximately 50% smaller.
I am breaking from tradition by printing on Inox (stainless steel) and produced 1 fullsize test image which as a presentation piece, I was delighted with - however, I found the image contained less fine detail than I expected - very dark in the shadows - though detail was present if one squinted enough.
This was taken on a Canon 5D MARK I - where the new images will be printed from a source file from D800.
Anyone experience or hints, because once the nod is given, I'll be shy a couple of grand.
