I have a small number of 'letterbox' type images that I would like to get printed, possibly on canvas or similar.
I normally use DSCL for printing but don't see suitable sizes available when I upload one of these images.
What's the best way to go about getting odd sizes printed/produced?

Nobody ever got any non-standard size printing done?

The simple solution is to make a new file the next regular size up - then drop your unique sized image onto it. Then when the print arrives, trim the excess paper off. If you look at many labs you'll find that non-standard print sizes are often more expensive than the regular size one - you might be able to add extra images in the spare area too...

You will need to get a straight edge or long metal ruler, a sharp knife and something to cut on....

So mounted canvas prints and the like are not possible in 'odd' sizes?

Canvas Prints are dependent on the size of stretchers available.

We carry all different sizes for prints say 12"x30" but not narrower than that.

You need to find a lab that uses the Thetaweb software. This allows you to print photos at any size you want and charges by the mm of paper used subject to a minimum price

 do you know any that use a mail service?

I also wondered this :) Will subscribe and keep an eye out for a response.

I beleive you might find one in the channel islands - with Fitz in the name.....

Oxofrd Imaging have a whole range of sizes and will do bespoke stuff too.

Cheers both, I've given 'Fitz' a go so will see how it turns out.
