Printing issues

Today I took a some pics to get developed but now I'm worried that they won't turn out very good. They have nearly all been cropped and re-sized to fit onto 6x4, but I've just realised that they are not 300dpi, the smallest being 78dpi. What does this mean, is this going to lower the quality?

6x4 should be 1800x1200 pixels at 300 dpi if you have resized them to 78dpi then they would be 468 x 312 pixels
