I've recently bought a HP D7260 Inkjet printer and have also recently started using Lightroom.

Some of my prints haven't been truning out as expected when printing to HP Advanced photo paper and I wondered if anyone used the same 3 variables (HP D7260, Lightroom and HP Advanced Paper) and whether they can advise on what settings these use for both Lightroom and printer driver settings?

My monitor isn't calibrated so I know that will cause some issues, but it's more the quality that can be a bit disappointing.

Also, does anyone know if the Lightroom print settings override the HP D7260 printer driver settings, or if they are ignored?

If noone can help then I'll try and get in touch with HP, I just figured that it would be better to speak to someone on here with similar experiences.

Thanks!

My first step would be a calibrated monitor. Also Lightroom lets you select if Lightroom or the printer manages the settings etc, you need to have this set the same on both Lightroom and the printer.

Working on this... I had a post a few weeks ago where people recommended which to get, now just need to sort the finances out and work out how to sneak it past the wife

Will check this to ensure that they both match, thanks for the reminder.
