Evening all,

I'd like to get a couple of canvas prints done, as i'm a complete newbie i'm unsure as to what size i'd get away with both were taken with a D7000. Is there anything i need to know in particular regarding printing? i'll be using trade canvas print.

These are the images i want to use.

All advice and input welcome.

You tend to be able to get away with printing bigger on canvas than on paper so it's more of a case of how big do you want (within reason). I'd speak to the supplier and ask their guidance as to what you'll get away with given the resolution of the camera. You might also get a colour cast on the black and white one, depends if they're printing through a RIP and what type / how old their printer is.

As long as you haven't cropped your original images to less than 6 megapixels, you can print to any size you like. Don't worry about it.
