Morning all.

All of my prints usually go away to a lab, but I've recently invested in a new Epson XP-700 that I am remarkably impressed by, especially the 6x4 prints it spits out.

I wanted to try out a 9x6 print on it, to see how that compares, but I'm having a bit of trouble! The only way I can see to do it would be to print it centred onto A4 and use a guillotine to cut it. How do I print at an exact 9x6 size, though? Only options I have when printing is 6x4 or a4 etc. I was thinking maybe creating an A4 image in PS and pasting the photograph onto that but not sure that's the correct way of doing it :bonk:

Apologies for the dumb question, it's just not something I usually do and I am just wanting to test it out as a comparison.

Is it possible - and if so, how?

If you've got something like Photoshop, just print your 6x9 image (you should size it to 6x9 at 300PPI) and then press print. PS will bring up the dialogue box that asks you what to do with it. Select your A4 paper and the appropriate print settings. PS also offers to print corner crop marks for you to make it easier to cut.

Boom! That's got it!

Cheers Andrew. Appreciate that mate, I knew it'd be something simple enough!

Thanks very much pal
