As the title says, we're trying to print out quite a lot of stuff and every other page is spat out, and I have to put it back in the printer, at which point it actually prints on it. The paper is in correctly, and it's done this on quite a few seperate occasions.

We're using the Epson B1100, with Pro-Jet 130GSM matte paper.

Grateful for any help, as this is getting extremely fustrating :)

Might be a page size issue. If you do a print preview do you have unexplained blank pages?

I think Suz is right. Sounds to me as though the printer thinks it has to print two pages, and the second page is blank. Or it may be the page set up is incorrect. Have a look at the page set and see if there are any discrepancies

Are you printing images or text, or images within a text or word document. I've had exactly this problem text documents when part of the text has bee deleted, but line feeds roll over to another page.

It works fine with other papers, so not sure that would help.

Nope.

No, they're .tiff files of calendar pages printed via Lightroom :/

is the paper thicker than the others?

does it do it on any other matt papers?

if its not doing any damage to the paper then don't worry about it if its only that paper that does it - put some plain 80gsm paper behind it so that it takes that through on the second go

It's thinner than the matte paper we've used before. We have only used two types of matte paper, so we should probably try a different type to test.

I completely forgot to mention that the main problem with the printer doing this is that it then says there's no paper in the printer after spitting the paper out, so I have to put it back in and tell it to continue.
