Print with capture date and time on - how?

I've just had a query from someone about how he can print his pictures with the date and time recorded on them - ie they are superimposed on the image on the screen on the back of the camera but when he tries to print them from the memory card they have disappeared.

I haven't got the foggiest, but perhaps someone here can help?

He has a Sony Cybershot DSC - W560, if that matters.........
