I don't know if it would make any difference to the speed of processing your photos but I've been playing with a program called Primo Cache which allows you to create a cache in some memory and an L2 cache on an NVME SSD etc.
It produced some insane speeds on the computers I tested it on - mostly HP workstations etc and allowed file transfers at up to 1.5 GB/Sec from an NVME to a RAID 0 array running at 500 mb/sec normally.
Of course this does not reflect the real speed of the machine, but it's rather like the Samsung Rapid mode which does the same kind of thing.
I'd be interested in any results you may have in a real world situation running PhotoShop and Lightroom.
