Some of the Prime Videos I have downloaded just do not seem to want to play through my HDMI adapter from my iPad Air(3) to my TV.
They start but then just display the 'revolving circle' and stall, however if I remove the HDMI adapter they will play immediately on the iPad Air(3).
Other Prime Videos play fine ... any suggestions please?

Obvious maybe but, have you tried other HDMI cables to rule out a dodgy one? I have a bunch of them and had to throw a couple out because they were constantly losing connection

Thanks ... the cable is fine and some videos play okay but others just won't run at all, it's weird.

Odd one then, I don't use Apple products so can't help any further sorry, I'm sure there's plenty on here that do though. Only other thing I can think of is maybe a codec issue? but then the vids wouldn't play at all ...

Just browsing the Amazon Prime forum and it looks like this is a long-standing problem for many people. :(

Do you need to download to your iPad? Do you have the app on your tv, DVD player, Freeview box etc?

Switch to Virginmedia = Prime Video is one of their channels ;)

I do download the videos to my iPad ... the trailer plays every time without issue but not every full video.
I'll check if it's on the TV or Freeview box, can't remember seeing it.
As I mentioned above, it seems to be a long standing issue for many people.

Don't have it on the Freeview player/recorder but just discovered that we do have it on the TV so problem solved ... thank you. :)
