Price Check on 450D

Hi, went into Jessops and got a Quotation...as follows :

Canon 450D : 443.99 (50quid cash back to come of this though if I send a leaflet off)

Sandiskk ** SD HC (asandds265) 8GB : 24.99

Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM CAF (ASIGMLE105) : 279.99 (He said this would be ok for Nightclub Photos)

Accidental Dmg Insurance 3 yrs : 63.00 (But I heard Jessops might not be around in 3 yrs ? is that true ?)

Total 811.97

Is this any good ? I want to get it from a high street retailer incase I have problems and need to take it back.

Also can you haggle a little bit with Jessops ?

camera price is fine.
Jessops are typically expensive of memory cards/bags etc, so check amazon and the like for that stuff
according to camera price buster you can get that lens about £15 cheaper.

Jessops financial situation is not good, who knows if they will be around in 3 years.

Yep, good price on the 450D (i'm assuming that comes with the kit lens) and lens, though i think you may be able to get the card a tad cheaper (my 8Gb was ~£17) but depends if you want the extra hassle and petrol costs.
And yes you can haggle a bit, i managed to get £9 off my telephoto lens simply because i was being served by the manager and was comparing a couple and wasnt sure whether to buy there and then. (but £9 isnt massive so you probably cant get that much off like)
