Hi anyone who reads this,

Recently joined this site following a recommendation from my son. I've been a photographer off and on for over 40 years but only got back into it seriously in the last 3 years. Having been brought up with Nikon kit I've stuck with it (still the best!) and currently use a D90 with a variety of lenses. My newest toy is a Sigma 150-500 which is proving brilliant for wildlife which is my main interest. Hopefully I will start posting to this site soon.
 
Many thanks for the welcome Just Dave. I have posted some shots of Dragonflies and in Nature and one of a Bittern in the reedbeds in Birds. Will try and post more during this week but am working in Cornwall this week in an area with very limited Broadband connection
 
welcome John, Im close to you ( Taunton) also use a Sigma 150-500mm for widlife- I know some top venues if you ever fancy a day out shooting wildlife etc drop me a PM fella

Many thanks for the invite Les, at present my av aiulability for trips is rather limited and I'm not able to plan in advance but I'll get back to you as soon as that changes - probably a couple of months.
