Im trying to crop a number of images, both portrait and landscape to the same amount but I cant, I can set the ratio to 2:3.5 on the landscape but cant do it on the portrait as it seems to crop it the wrong way.

Tag your portrait images and rotate them before cropping then set them back to portrait once cropped.

This may be a really silly point, but you are setting it to 3.5:2 the other way aren't you...

You can grab a corner of the crop and then drag it until the orientation switches. It will resist change to begin with and then, once you go so far, it will flip.

Didnt work . . .
Oh yes it does :)

I do the portrait crop on a landscape shot by dragging the corner about too. It always works but I'm never really sure what movement made it switch
