I've done it again, all the gear and no idea. I've just got Premiere Pro CC and I'm completely overwhelmed by it. How on earth does a beginner learn how to use it? I've looked at a lot of short youtube videos but l really can't be doing with hyped up Americans shouting 'whats up dude' all the time. Does anyone know of a nice and slow full tuition course that l can do either online or in person? I don't mind paying for it.

Thanks for that. That course seems ideal as l can learn at a speed that suits me. The free section seems to be quite informative too.

I've been using Premiere Pro for over 18 months, I'm doing his Premiere pro essentials course now and I'm learning things I never knew :)

I notice there are two payment methods, am l right in thinking if l want to take it slowly and go for the annual payment, everything will be available for the full 12months, as apposed to the monthly payment were access will be available for each month, or is the monthly payment just a way of spreading the annual fee over 12monthly payments, if that question makes sense?

I signed up for the annual plan as I'm planning on doing a few of his courses and my wife wants to do the Excel and Word courses.
If you choose the annual plan you have access to the full catalogue of courses for that 12 month period.

If you choose the monthly plan, you have access as long as you keep up the regular monthly payments. :)

Books would be much more effect. You take all your time reading it slowly and steady, pause and make your own notes, then read some more. Examples being one of the Classroom in a Book series from Adobe. I bought one when I started Premiere Pro for the first time. It helps if you read the books first before you try tuition courses or watching YouTube videos. Think about it, when using YouTube videos, we tend to rewind and replay parts until we understand it.

I've read one of those Classroom in a Book series book, made my own notes, then watched some YouTube videos, and although I'm still a novice, I've managed to edit a good video myself.
