Now the rugby union matches are all on Premier Sports I'm considering subscribing.
Has anyone here signed via up Sky TV?
How does it work? Can you still record matches? Is there a 'catch up' option?

I have tnt (through virgin) so I get all the premier ones.
But to watch the Europeans championship cup this year will cost an extra £70.
Not buying this.
I think the final and one or 2 others are on free to air.

We record the premier matches if we are out. Not sure about the catch up option.l

I have TNT Peter, but the rugby championship is not there anymore. Hence looking at the Premier option.
 
I looked into Premier Sports this morning as I also wanted to watch the European rugby and had a discount code. Having read the feedback on Trust Pilot I have decided against it for now. It was mainly problems with signal drop outs that put me off.

I expect you can record but catch up unlikely.

Let us know how you get on.
 
Used Premier for some time now through sky, find it better than the streaming option, record programmes as normal.
 
I have Premier which I view through Sky. Signed up through the premier website, provided my sky viewing card number and comes through on the sky+ box, can record etc. I don't know if recording will work if you don't have an active sky subscription though.

I have it for NASCAR but being able to watch the European rugby is a nice bonus, even if Bristol lost to Ireland, I mean Leinister, last night.

So tell me please Mark, if I sign up via the Premier Sports website, both these channels on my Sky Q box become active?

They are in my case (Sky+ but that shouldn't make a difference). My recollection of the signup process is that it was clear that I was opting to get it through sky and providing a viewing card number, and once I did the channels became active after a short delay.
 
NB the Premier Sports rugby channel is now free on Virginmedia.
