As the title says, praise for a sometimes maligned supplier.
I always use 7day for my ink needs so when the cart for my laser printer was reporting as low, I ordered one from 7day. Unfortunately, they don't stock original Samsung ones, so I ordered a compatible 7dayshop own brand one. After all, a toner cart only needs to print black, so a compat should be able to do the job?
Unfortunately, when the original was finally empty, I whipped it out and the new one in and got horrendously smeared pages in return. Not what I need! Using their contact us form, I sent them tis message

7dayshop replacement Samsung MLT-D1042S / ML 1660 Black toner cartridge seems faulty. Very smeary prints, rendering paper and prints useless. Would like refund since you don't appear to sell genuine cartridges for my printer, so have ordered from elsewhere.

Genuine Samsung cart now ordered through Amazon (and, IIRC, Amazon themselves are the supplier, not one of their market placers). More expensive but should at least work! I may even receive 2 - last order I placed arrived in 3 packages - a large item in one, 3 CDs in the next, then everything in the third - a completely duplicated order! The duplicate has been returned of course - cost me 95p (IIRC) for signed for delivery, all other postage was covered by their e-mailed printed label. Just need to keep an eye on my bank statement to check up on the 7day refund ant to make sure Amazon haven't tried to charge me twice!
