I need a powerbank to charge 2x Fuji batteries in a double charger and I may need to charge 6 in total throughout a day . Can anyone recommend a powerbank under £50 . There seems to be alot of junk online with from what I see with very inaccurate mah numbers hence why I'm asking you good people here

I don't have one with that much juice, but I'd probably buy Anker again, like my phone charger.

You might be pushed at less than £50 .. I use a Jackery PowerBar .. I did a review in here when i got it... You can use a 3pin plug on it or usb .... didnt use it for 6 mths in lockdown and still had 100% power waiting for me :)

Might seem a stupid question but how many shots do you expect to take using 6 batteries?

or chimping :coat:

Around 2000 plus/minus depending on the wedding . Just want to keep myself covered and I'll always use it camping etc

I use the rav power and anker versions from Amazon. Both easily charge the batteries in a dedicated charger, the anker power core is also the usb c version that Fuji recommend (xt4) on their spec sheets.
Think they’re over £50 now but the rav was about £30 and the anker was around £48. Just look out for offers on Amazon.

I’ve used them when camping for charging my cameras, iPad, watch, phone, well everything and never got through 2 power banks.

Anker here

Have a look on Amazon under the name Zendure, they do a decent range
Got one that I still use that was bought back in 2015, tough as old boots and not too pricey

I have a Belkin device and found that pretty good, only use it for iPhone/iPad/Nav/Dashcam

Have you thought about a car jump starter?
I bought a heavy duty one that will start a 6L diesel engine....
They're pretty small nowadays - 185x85x40mm - and cost about £59
I charge mine about once a year and just keep it in my car for emergencies. They charge two USBs at once.
This one is 14800Ah:

I just got this Baseus one primarily to run a heated waistcoat - it does that all day only using one bar of four.
It's a bit bigger and heavier than I anticipated but massive capacity for about £21 * (so free amazon delivery).
* I see it's £25 now the prices are often very variable on there

It seems Thomas Heston may have been thinking along the same lines as you going by his latest 4x4 camper video.

That's where I got it from Rob.

I'd not heard of it before he showed it.

Got more money than sense that bloke, imagine getting rid of a bespoke campervan build for an old Pajero with a different body?

Mental.

Wow that’s pretty compact....have you had to use it on the car....just wondered if it did the job ok?

It’s a bit off topic but I get his thinking behind it as it’s about the right business tool rather than nice to have. If there was ever a time to sell a camper van it was at the start of this summer as you wouldn’t have lost anything and possibly made bit of a profit!

Yep, I had a dodgy battery at the time which has since been replaced.
The jump starter worked every time, 1st go.
I've used it on camping trips for the light and for charging phones.

Cheers...looks handy especially as you would pay £25-30 for a power bank.......would be handy for my camping / tog trips on the motorbike and getting the thing started when I accidentally put diesel in it...

funny enough I was just looking for a heated waistcoat too on amazon, there seems to be a lot of them, which one do you have, are they any good?
cheers.

It does everything a powerbank does plus starts cars. They have other outputs and lights and last for ages.
Always best to check reviews

They are on the snug side but you wouldn't want it loose as the heat would escape - but go up a size maybe.
Very effective, it has three heat settings but even on lowest is plenty warm enough with a windproof layer over.

My ten year old power bank couldn't run front and back together due to low amps - that's why I needed a bigger one.
Probably if you have two output USBs it is capable of delivering enough amps (it only uses one outlet though)
Info on how many amps they put out is rather sparse.

Im guessing this will be for paid clients? If that’s the case it may be better asking this question on the business forum to get a working pros opinion on this and how they cover this issue.

I’m guessing you’re thinking of covering yourself from a self sufficiency point of view. Whilst I can see it’s good to be thinking of protecting yourself in this way I’m wondering if you are over thinking it. Is carrying enough fully charged batteries a possible solution? Also if it’s weddings then surely there will be electric power at the venue that you could utilise if the worst happens and you need to charge a battery in an emergency? Obviously you will need to PAT test the chargers and carry two of them so you have redundancy in case one fails (that will be the same with a battery pack too if you go that way).
