Hi all,


Just sharing the good news that one of my images was short listed for photographer of the year round 5 (natural world) with Digital photo and practical photography magazine.

I can now confirm that I placed 2nd!!!

My image will be printed in the oct issues of both magazines.

My prize is a Nikon s1 with 11-27.5mm lens.

I'm very very happy.

I saw your image when viewing the entries. Knew right away you were destined for a placing.

I get Digital photo on subscription so will look forward to seeing it in print.

I entered 2 images into round 6 - still life.

Got my copy of Digital photo yesterday Matt. Nice to see it in print!

Curious why they decided to flip the image to face the ant the other way.

any hoo congrats again!

Thanks, I'm not sure why they flipped the image but nethermind lol.

I would image as we READ left to right- it gives the ant somewhere to look into as we scan the image from left to right!

Congratulations!!

I got my copy of PP the other day and showed my OH your picture in a "wish I'd taken this" kind of way. Great to hear it was taken by a fellow TP member.
 
I have just got my October copy and it looks very nice in print Matt- well done ( again)
