I had an email via my website contact page today in some pretty broken English. I put a copy of it below.

Hello,
My name is Paul Read, i will like to order for some piece of your works as gift for my parent who will be celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary's, so i will be glad to have your reply as soon as possible and out of adequate preparations, we are looking for a good artists that we can order some Art Works from, to make this easier get you can get back to us with some of your works that you have for sale, so that i can choose from them.i would like you to also get back with your official website so i chose from the once you have for sale. Meanwhile, my price range is from 300 pounds to 1500 pounds.

Waiting to read from you today.so that we can make some progress. I will be waiting to read from you at you convinces time.

Call me suspicious but I get the distinct impression this is the start of a scam especially as the person has made contact via my site - which they are asking for details of?

I know there are a fair few of us with Clikpic sites and I was wondering if anybody else has had something similar?

Incase you were wondering I deleted the email - just a heads up.

I don't blame you, someone sending you an email like that that obviously isn't English would get alarm bells ringing too...
 
there was a wedding picture scam going around a while ago that sounds similar, can't remember who was approached though.

If you look at some of the examples in the article you will see an almost word for word copy of what you got sent.

"My name is Kenneth Jacobs, i will like to order for a piece of your Art Works from your gallery as gift for my parent who are celebrating thier 10th wedding annivasarys , so i will be gald to have your reply asap, i will be glad if you can send me your website address to choose or send me four of your product that is availble for me to choose . payment will be make by Cheque. Waiting to read from you today."
