I am new to these sites but hope to learn more about photography, How do I post photos? Thanks
 
Hi and welcome to TP :)

Many folk would link to their Flickr account images. However it is also possible to upload and embed at TP..... though I think you have to post a number of times first?

@Cobra please guide :)
 
To post anything on here, the image needs to be 1024 or less on the longest side and less than 500k in size.

Flickr does make it simpler and it is free to use.
Lastly, welcome to TP Janet. :welcome:
 
Give this a try on here , copy your photo to your desktop just so you know where it is ( presuming your using a PC) click on the icon next to the smiley face (left of it) you get a box come up which says drop image click on this and go to desktop select your image and it should load into your post. Hope this makes sense, Unfortunately if the image file size
is too big it will not allow you to do it this way but it will tell you so.

Or maybe just drop and drag into the reply box
Or use the attach file at the bottom of the reply box :)
And yes a maximum 1024px on the longest side and less than 500kb or your'll get an error message.
