Going to tentively take my first steps into post processing.

I will be using an Ipad 2 and Photoshop touch.

Although there is a few lessons and videos around for touch, there is nothing like the coverage for fully fledged photoshop.

When i have an idea of what i want to do and its probably going to be nothing complicated that i can find something for photoshop and apply it to touch.

But the question is mainly around, How do you deciede what you need to do to perk up a photo?

Obviously cropping and straightening are easy to spot, but going on from there, how do you deciede what is needed?

Any guides around?

Most guides will be focused around Photoshop as a minimum running on a PC/Mac, not really iPad based apps.

I would focus more on things like contrast and colour tints/hues. The problem I found when editing on the iPad and like with other Tablets, you have no control of the screen. When using a PC or Mac, you can buy a screen calibration tool for your monitor to set it up correct ensuring you have the best you can out of it so in theory your reds will be red, blues will be blue and not over saturated.

Thanks Teshi,

As its my first foray into post processing, i think its a little far to tak about screen calibration tool etc.

I have a laptop but find the screen is poor for looking at photo as the colours chance as the angle of viewing changes.

At least with the ipad it is consistant from different viewing angles
