Hi,
Was hoping someone might be able to help.

What i see and shoot thru the viewfinder is not what appears on the LCD.

It appears to 'cut off' the bottom 5th or 6th of the frame, and add a 5th or 6the to the top of the frame.

Has anyone had anything similar with their DSLR's?

(I've tried it with my 2 lenses, (a Minolta 24-105 & a Sigma 50-500), and the results are the same.
I live in Cyprus so am just after info prior to my next UK trip and a visit to Jessops i expect... :(

Thanks in advance,
Alfie

That doesn't sound good :( I'm sure someone else had the same issue on here a while ago. Rings a vague bell.

Good time to buy an all new SLT like the A55 or the soon to be released A65 or A77s :)

Sounds like a problem with the anti-shake, normally it's caused by the roller the sensor moves on failing, usually as a result of a knock or fall....

What he said. It's back to Sony for the fix.
