So, in light of the fact that the Northerners meet up and get to play together, how about an exclusive Brizzle meet for us yocals.

Maybe one Sunday?

Safety in numbers and all that - somewhere decent where we can shoot 3 bracket stuff on tripods and watch each others backs so to speak.:thinking: :clap:

I'd be up for it, although not being a true Bristolian I'm not sure I'd be welcome :D

Getting to Bristol is a peice of p***, it's trying to navigate the local public transport when the problems start!
 
I'm definately up for a meet, beer, curry/food.

If we kick off on a Sat/Sun day we could even annoy the people around Brizzl/Clifton (?Bridge/Gorge/Watery bits...?) by toting around lumps of glass, metal and plastic.

Then round off the day in a Curry house of choice?

I'm sure we can open up the invites to them that live in the vicinity. Even as far as over the bridge. :D

I'm in, then. 2 weeks notice is ideal for me.

He hasn't been about here for a while, and I'm not 100% certain whether I have his number on my phone (due to a clever bit of phone losing) but if I can get in contact with Spencer (Gandhi) I'll get him to haul his lazy arse over :)
 
I'm out skiiing for 10 days from 15th Feb so either Sat/Sun 10th/11th Feb or early March works for me.

Pete -can you pick a date and change the title of this thread to include a date ? (can do this in advanced editing... if you didnt know).

I'd think anyone in the area round bristol - can get in no fuss - are more than welcome! more the merrier :D
 
I'm up for this but 11th Feb is no good for me - I'll be at Weston for the Tough Ten - shooting mind, not running!
 
Can I just say you are all more than welcome to attend the meets going on up north, just a long way to travel I know, but the more the better.
Hope you manage to get this arranged and look forward to seeing the photos.
 
This is better, i never did want to venture as far north as Liverpool :p

I might be up for this as it's only an hour or so from me :) does anyone have any ideas of places to shoot? or would it just be random wondering around?
 
There are lots of great places to go and shoot in Bristol.

A lot 'pends upon yr bent.
Theres old architecture, brunell was here dontya know. The cathederal and uni are on a par with stuff elsewhere.

Then there's the gorge... full of wildlife and people doing exercisy things...

Basically we just need to decide what and where
