Right, not sure where to put this.

I would really appreciate some help on poses for portraiture, I lack a bit of artisticness (i think i made that up).

I would like to get some nice shots of me and the other half whilst she is still pregnant so we have some really nice photos!

Any tips/advice is very much appreciated!

Good luck! I've got 2-3 weeks!

Anyone got any tips or links to guides that might be helpful?

I suggest you go on Flickr and search pregnant - see the poses they have on there.

Thanks I never thought of that. Seen a few on there actually. There's a nice silhouette one which is nice but im not to sure how to set up my lighting to get the right shot.

Would anyone be kind enough to show me a quick diagram of how a simple lighting set up with flashguns should be. Also should I keep with ETTL? or Manual flash?

Thanks

maybe if you linked the pic i'm sure the brains on here could figure out how its done.

I'm just a token bimbette.

Anyone able to help me re-create similar images to those above?

top has no frontal light - light is coming from the sides hence the shadows on the front. The studio lights are towards the backdrop lighting that up.

again the shadows on the 2nd on - the light is top right. possible weak light on the left to soften the shadows up but the main light is providing all the angles.
