haha yup ill have fun asking the bride that one.. lol

It's amazing how much you can adjust height with subtle changes, if the guy has his legs apart and bends only slightly at the knee, the bride snuggles in and looks up - he looks down an they're now 'in the frame'.

I'm photographing a similar couple in October and I showed them this at the booking meeting, they were amazed.

The other one is to have the groom stand a few feet behind her gazing lovingly, the bride in a demure pose and your camera back diagonal so you're shooting up past her to him. You can vary the apparent height difference easily.

Here's an issue though - a best man who's a foot taller than my groom next month

This was shot at a wedding a couple of weeks ago. This is one of the bridesmaids and her boyfriend. She's 5'4".

Get him to perch on the end of a table or on a fence and have her standing up and snuggling in to his chest... will reduce his height a little but also looks nice :)

have the groom a metre or so behind her

They obviously know there is a big height difference so are probably used to having to "adjust" their posing/stance for photos. Why not discuss it with them directly before the day and ask if they have any hang-ups about it.

In a recent Sue Bryce video i watched she had the taller person stand with their legs wide apart and then just cropped to the top of the thigh
