Posing a 14 year old girl? (home studio shoot)

Received an enquiry the other day to shoot a 9 year old and 14 year old... not something I do usually and although I've done a few family shoots it's been with young kids or babies.

Any tips of posing a 14 year old girl?

I'm thinking maybe get her to use a few props and find a few teenage friendly fashion poses I could show her and ask her to copy?

If she's quite shy though she may not feel comfortable doing this so could do with a few ideas to take with me so I've got a plan B and plan C etc.

Really depends on the girl! On a recent family one I had an 12 yo and a 15yo. The 15yo was very confident, almost model like and was posing very well, the younger was a bit more wooden.

I put the camera down at the start and just have a chat, what sort of thing do they feel comfortable with, any ideas from them. If none, i just go through the normal stuff lije looking at me, side on, on tummy with hands on chin etc..
