Tracy. If you want hints and tips then you need to show us some examples of your portraits and tell us little more about what you do and what you use. As it is we have nothing at all to go on. Do you want posing help, lighting tips, camera advice or what ? What sort of results are you trying to achieve, and who's work do you like ?
You may get a bit more help if you are a little more specific !
