Portrait Courses?

Hi Guys,

I'd love to get me a degree/diploma/something in photography with an emphasis on portraiture, however I am in fulltime work so I would have to do it in the evenings and the like. I was thinking that if I could find something that I could do in a modular that would be nice. I'm based in Loughborough and commute to Derby, I know that Nottingham has quite a good degree in photography but it's full time.

Has anyone out there got any ideas or experience in this area?

any advice would be much appreciated.

What about distance learning? Have you looked at the open college of the arts courses? Try the learndirect website too for searching for courses but be weary of the 15 week digital photography courses as they're all photoshop and not a lot else. what about doing a short course with one of the companies in the back of the photo mags?
