Can anyone recommend a good "how to..." book on portrait photography?

Cheers

Mark Cleghorn has a decent one called "Portrait Photography: Secrets of posing and lighting". I haven't read any others so hard to say how it compares but it was useful and pretty easy to follow.

Depends on your level though, I guess - are you a novice, intermediate or expert? Cleghorn's book aims at the intermediate level, I'd say, and assumes a decent understanding of photography.

Thanks Ian
I would say that would be about the right level. I know how to take a decent picture I think. Just looking for more insight in to posing, lighting techniques, tricks and ideas, and composition. Thanks for the recommendation.
