I've been thinking recently about getting the best 20-30 images I have and printing them out, storing them as a portfolio. Mostly as something to glance through every now and then and to have hard copies in the same format/size of all my best shots. I assume others do this, what size and who do you use to do it?

One of the options that caught my eye was Loxleys fine art prints (actually that's what made me thing of doing this...) https://www.loxleycolour.com/gicleeprints.aspx . They probably wouldn't end up on a wall, although maybe in the future I could cycle them through a couple of frames and I was thinking something like 18x12 for each print, although is that too small? Any recommendations for other printers?

if it's a B&W fine art style print, vision graphix are fab! I think they advertise on here anyway, but if not, their web is http://www.visiongraphix.co.uk

Why not think about making a coffee-table style book?

I had some standard prints done by loxley for a job interview and they were fantastic. They are more costly than places like DSCL, but in my opinion the difference in quality really shows.

That visiongraphix looks cheaper than Loxley, wonder if they are just as good...? They have 3 choices of paper, which is even more confusing now!

I'm not interested in a photobook as I'd like to have them as individual prints so I can add and possibly hang them up when wanted. I have a couple of photobooks already with many of the prints in. :)

faddius, I usually use Loxley for standard prints but was thinking something above and beyond as a real archival thing, nice matt finish with some nice paper.
