.. and walked out with a D300 :)

got it home and got familier with it,

im quite impressed so far i know its VERY early days. but it so needs a battery grip, i got too used to the feel of one on my d80,

heres a few pics taken straight out of the camera, with only size adjustment and all on factory settings.

Congratulations and yes, get the battery grip. It's quite a bit more expensive than the D80 one, but it is far better made and balances the camera nicely :)

yeah i noticed its way more than the d80 grip,

jessops sell them for £270!! and you still have to buy a battery on top of that!

ill get one from hong kong though for £160, i dont mind getting bits like that from over there.



yeah the baby is small bless him!, hes 4 weeks old too.

my sister gave birth to a boy on tuesday just gone and he came out bigger than my daniel and daniel was born 3 weeks before him! lol
 
Great start to your Nikon D300! What you might call an expensive shopping trip though!
 
Very worthy purchase, I'm sure you won't be disappointed at all :)
