I have an image at the moment that I would like to save with the green colour channel deleted to give the photograph a purple look. I am using CS4 and when I try to delete the green channel and save the image it reverts back to the original image. I have tried using a duplicate layer and then flattening the image but this does not seem to work either. Any advice much appreciated.

Image > Adjustments > Channel Mixer. Select the green channel and drop the value to 0%, then save. Would that meet your needs?

(I can't see the image, as it must be blocked by the work's webfilter.)

That worked for me, with one of my own pictures where I wanted to drop the Blue Channel. Cheers!
