Got home last Thursday, called the cats in, one came running in, the other didn't. He eventually showed up walking very slowly, all was not right. Down to the vets we went moggy and I. Off to their X Ray dept in another branch, advised to go home and wait for the results. Upshot was a bad rupture and a broken tail very close to the base. Total cost so far 2700 quid. Most expensive moggy we have ever had.
They reckon he probably had an argument with a car and he lost. He looks very sorry for himself, missing fur, missing tail. Looks like he should pull through.
Glad my daughter insured him.

At least he didn't need a cat scan that would have been expensive. Glad he's on the mend !

He's been back to the vets this morning and they think he'll be ok, currently he's being a typical bloke - flat on his back showing everyone his operation scar!
