Indeed they work well when square on to to the glass, and there are some special wide models that work even better allowing more tilting.Although a rubber lens hood can help reduce reflections.

Incredible, love the wreck photographs - there's something about old rusted machinery under the water that is absolutely captivating.
I bought an underwater housing last year but haven't had the chance to use it much yet. My daughter loves swimming in the ocean and I'm terrified of it but I really want to share that experience with her, so I figure if I take my camera with me it might keep my mind focused and allow me to concentrate on making images rather than what might be lurking just out of view...![]()
