Here's a poll for a choice of dates for the Suffolk Film Shoot meet that is being discussed in another thread...
 
I'm up for all bar the Feb one. No reason - just didn't want to appear too easy :cool:
 
Any apart from the May BH date are fine by me at the moment.
 
I notice that Sat 26th April is the first of the suggested dates where the Tide Mill wheel will turn for a couple of hours (starting around 3pm). Not sure if that event might influence some.
 
Looking at trains it seems to be a bit problematic getting to Woodbridge from Crewe.....still nothing ventured nothing gained.

It is a bit of a convoluted journey isn't it? A quick check and it seems you might have to go into London and back out again which is a pain, looks to me like it might have to be a weekend away for you northerners.
 
True, unless some kindly cockerny barrow boy was also going and could offer a lift to a penurious northern oaf....:whistle:
 
Vote cast for 29th of March. I would probably come up by train from Witham, not a bad journey.

i havent voted , i'm pretty sure i cant do March ,,but i will try to do the April .
 
OK - lets put a marker in the diary...
Lets go with the initial Suffolk film meet for the MARCH date - Saturday 29th March - details of the day's agenda to follow...

There's a dog show in town that day, so that's an excuse to keep busy with a camera rather than getting dragged into that ;-)

When I posted my comment & decision, the scores were level at 7 votes each for March & April, and I was asked to make a decision Chris R above... That's why I picked March.

well its your meet Chris ,but when you posted in this and the other thread it was 8 for April and 7 for march ,,,,which was the reason i didnt put my " may be able to do " April vote in

Apologies - we must have cross posted, as I checked and the poll was tied at 7 each for March / April dates; which is why i chose March...

I'd like to think that we can do another one later in the summer and hope that the dates will work for you then.

Works for me, though my attendance is conditional on my car passing its MOT first. Based on last year's test, it should go through once I've patched up the exhaust and replaced the handbrake shoes but you never know...
 
Just thought I'd bump this up the forum just in case there's any last minute filmies fancy a trip to the wild east.
