Edit My Images
Yes
I've taken photos over the last ten years using compact digital cameras and SLR. Whilst I love taking photos, I hate spending so long on editing and never got into the workflow mentality. Consequently, there are circa 30k RAW files that I need to spend time processing. Whilst my later photos are marginally better, my earlier ones were rubbish - back then I had no concept of taking a photo other than putting a camera up to my face and pressing the shutter.

For some photos, it isn't worth doing more than the minimum of processing and I wished I'd shot some of them in JPG. I'm trying to work out how to either automate or simplify processing the RAW files of photos that I'd like to keep for memories (but are otherwise rubbish).

Any suggestions?

If you can get hold of a free copy of DXO Optics Pro, that was quite automated, and could be allowed to batch process the images. Otherwise On1 photoraw has 'AI' automatic processing built in that should be ok.

They the photolemur program as linked here, it’s the full version for free.
I just tried it out just to see, and was actually pretty surprised how well it did.
One click and it edited a raw file pretty close to how I would have edited it myself.

I also just downloaded the Photolemur software from skylum.

Looking at the FAQ
Photolemur free version can be used for an unlimited period of time with the following limitations:
  • No batch processing
  • Photolemur watermark added to processed images
  • 1200px maximum long-edge size for exported photos
So not a lot of use after all

It’s not the free version, it’s got the serial number to unlock the full version with the link.
