I just picked one of these up -- $85 later, ha. I was wondering if anyone had any links to modifying the Battery / Flashes on these? I know you can still find the batteries, but obviously some AA's would be a lot cheaper.

And I'm quite sure this can run on Fuji's FP-100C -- But can anyone confirm if it works (I know some of the new Instant films can be a bit too thick), and if they do work, how do they come out compared to the original Polaroid Film?

Any info is greatly appreciated! I'd google, but most of the info is from non-photog's. :shrug: :D
 
The Fuji pack film will work fine (and give you ten shots per pack instead of the eight you get from Polaroid).

Is it a 3 volt battery? If so, you can by a plastic holder for two AAA cells (from Maplin in the UK, not sure what your equivalent is) and solder that in place.
