Hi :)

Need some point and shoot advice!

We're looking to get a camera for my mum-in-law. She's 60 in a couple of weeks and I could do with finding something that's easy to use (including uploading to the PC) and not too difficult to hold one-handed, as she occasionally uses a walking stick.

In the past I've bought my kids Kodak P+S cameras just because the software is very user friendly. I had a look around at something more up to date in the same line and the Kodak V803 looks like it might be an option. It's just over £100 so not too expensive and seems to be quite user friendly.

Would anyone recommend anything else for around the same price?

Thanks :)

Have a look at the Canon Ixus range, superb little camera's with good IQ and really easy to use and depending on which model some of them have a 3 inch display.

The title tempts me to say "a .22 Webley" or something similar :naughty: but I'd go with Scraggs and look around the Ixus range.

I was just thinking "point&shoot for the mother-in-law"
sounds like a good swap!

Buy a Sony W55 7.2 mp around £120 easy to work she'll never take a blurred picci on auto and theres a viewfinder, plus its a decent size to hold

Nikon Coolpix S200 is a lovely little unit and can currently be had for around £120 :)
