Does anyone use PocketMags to read any photography Magazine. What is your experince with it.

Can you down load and save the magazine from your Tablet (Android) and use it on a PC (Desktop or Laptop)
How good is the quality of the Pictures.
Does it remember where you got too in the Magazine.

Any Problems encountered.

Would you recommend it as the reviews on Google Play Store are not that good.

Thanks
Pete

I obtain my digital magazines for free via the Welsh Library Service, which uses Zinio. This just involves a visit to the library to register and then download suitable magazines from 100s listed at will, such as Amateur Photographer, Digital SLR Magazine and Motorcycling magazines in my case. I believe a similar service is available in Scotland and some but not all Counties in England do the same, it's a bit of a Postcode lottery. I can download magazines to my phone, tablets and PC at will, the magazine can be on more than one device at once. It will remember my page on a single device. For a free service, it's very good and definitely worth checking the local library to see whats titles are available. It may be of course, that other libraries use a different program. Picture quality is very good on a high spec device, pages can be zoomed when necessary. I use an 8 inch Tab for travel and a Samsung Tab S 10 inch at home, this has a very high quality screen.

Also worth looking at issuu, it's an app I have on the iPad that gives free access to lots of periodicals and articles.

Unfortunately my Library only offers free audio ebooks so far.
