Pocket camera holidays recommendation?

I recently shot an all day music festival (six acts from 3pm to 11 pm) with my RX100M7 using just one battery for most of it - I think I used maybe 30% of the second battery

Shooting RAW, can confirm the shot count if it will help you when I get home, but I am sure you will be more than fine with three

It’s a great little camera, enjoy

Just checked and it was a smidge under 1200 shots - 95% of the time I am using the EVF, but the flappy screen is handy for overhead shots and the like

juts got back. it was horrendous.. had them before with the ink but not like this :(
all my insides suddenly went hot I could feel it going through me. They said that would happen. But they didn't tell me about the wretching as it ended. Violently trying be sick so much my ribcage was hurting. Couldn't actually be sick but went through the motions it was horrible... sigh now to wait for results

cheer up camera arrives in next hr :)
 
Being mildly claustrophobic and broad across the shoulders, I only just fit in the nearest MRI tube which makes it worse. Better that than having to get down to Plymouth though!

Hope the memory fades quickly and the results make it a worthwhile "experience".

Worth giving the manual a read...
 
Couldnt even unpack.. had to go pick wife up just as it arrived then errands then tea..

First impressions... As usual with MPB they get the description wrong... This was described as good.and for an extra 100 quid plus I could have got excellent.. Unwrapped had a look.. and it's like new... i can't see anything wrong with it.. they have done this to me before sent me stuff that like new but descibed as good hahaha

instant dislike.. the camera turning off when you close the popup eye thing... I knew it happens but didnt realise how annoying

Soon got used to the controls . glad about the "mymenu" I use that a lot on my dslr

Only able to shoot around the house at the missus and stuff but so far am impressed... 90% of time these pics will be for facebook so resizing to 2000 pixels does half the noise reduction for you :)

I will be out in daylight tomorrow.. first thing is a pic of the side of my house.. see how the bricks look corner to corner

Looking forwatd to weekend.. gonna take to football and see if I can captue from seats.. then its the birmingham/german christmas market on sunday prior to ice hockey in solihull.. so a good bit of testing to come

there are bit i just dont understand so expect question :)

All in all.. miles better than I thought a pocket camera could do..


Q) When I set the screen to face me it auto goes to 3 seco0nd timer and lens assist (red light) how do I turn off the 3 second thing or change to 10 even
 
You can change the option in the menus so that when the evf is closed it doesn’t power off the camera
