soon after buy my G9...i bought a film for the LCD which has proved to be totally useless...it is peeling away and is generally a mess...any advise for replacing would be helpful....thanks...jackie

GGS glass 3 inch one does the trick, try here. He doesn't have the G9 one listed just now, but they were £4.50 delivered a few weeks back. UK sellers are charging £12 for them...

They any good? How do they stay put on the Nikon SLR bodies please - i couldn't get the whole of the stuff to show on my computer.

They have a small strip of double-sided tape on them, so they just stick onto the LCD. The are pretty good at protecting the screen from light knocks or scratches, but the will shatter if struck hard enough, rather than absorb the impact the way the oem Nikon plastic ones do.

I purchased one of these recently for my A200.
Very quick delivery and does the job nicely.

Don't know if this is the one for your camera or not?
:shrug::shrug:

Looks like the same one I suggested, but at twice the price :thinking:

I've never really seen the point of these. I've never used them and my cameras all have spotless LCDs. Just get a decent camera bag and it's not really a problem that needs a solution.

Twice the price but in stock....mine are half price when I don't have any!

That's fine if your cameras spend all their lives in your camera bag ;)

That's why they still have them in stock :lol:

I'm sure Garry, the seller I linked to will either have them in stock but not listed, or be getting them in soon...

lot folks....i knew you would have an answer....yes i know that i should get a camera bag...but i normally just put my g9 in my handbag so it gets messy...thanks again......jackie

I have a similar thing to the ggs one shown above, except that the whole thing 'sticks' to the lcd screen in the same way mobile phone protectors do. It's been there for over a year now and looks as good as new. I bought it for my 30d after my 300d took a tumble leaving a small but annoying scratch on the lcd surface.
