Morning all, Aas im jsut getting back on to photography im wanting to get some practice on of some planes.

So here’s my question......

Im from Newcastle so obviously im heading to Newcastle airport BUT is there a website which tells you what planes would be landing that day or is it just a case of being at the right place at the right time.

Im not clued up on planes but i know theres say the Dream liner and some other big planes that land at Newcastle airport was hoping to catch some of these as well as every day stuff.

Any help and advice would be appreciated??

Thanks

If you use this:
http://www.flightradar24.com/TOM1232

and just click on the aircraft that is heading towards Newcastle, it tells you what aircraft it is and time of arrival. You can be clever and click on them when a fair distance away. It will give you time to get there. :) You can get it for your smartphone also. I used it when my sons flight into Leeds/Bradford was delayed. I knew before they announced it that it was on its way to Newcastle.

Kev.

You can try and get hold of the paper version of the airports timetable, if they do such a thing still.
The Heathrow one used to have the aircraft type in it, but obviously it was subject to change on a day to day basis.
Depending on when (if it does exist) the document was printed, it may or may not feature the Airfix special, keeping in mind it was grounded around the time of summer schedules being released.
