Places in South Devon to shoot wildlife?

From Newton Abbot what about Dawlish Warren NNR , numerous sites arround the exe estuary including exe marshes RSPB, EXE reedbeds and the old sludge beds DWT, virtually anywhere on the exe cyclepath on the exmouth side at low tide for wintering wadersgoing inland you have chudleigh kneighton heath and little bradly ponds (also near chudleigh) - loads of others - for a start see here

also not strictly wildlife but you are handily placed for both paignton zoo and dartmoor zoo
 
I'm tempted to say that we ought to stage a TP meet, but

a) there was a TP meet at dartmoor zoo not that long ago, and
b) I have so few weekends spare between now and xmas that i cant reliably commit to anything.

Ive not been but dartmoor zoo is suposed to be tog freindly on account of having some open fronted enclosures that rely on moats instead of mesh

I will keep my eyes peeled for any TP events soon.

I am going to diary some times to go to the zoo to have some willing subjects to photograph
